Kerstin is a mother of six children and blessed to take on the role as a stay at home mom for 19 years. Her children range from 8 to 19, including twins!
Kerstin has experience as a birth doula, lactation counselor and newborn care specialist. Kerstin was first called to pursue birthwork after falling in love as a birth photographer. After certifying as a birth doula, her passion for birth work grew and became a calling that she needed to continue to follow. Kerstin and her family relocated from Connecticut, with one of the reasons to attend midwifery school in Austin. Studying midwifery educated Kerstin on the benefits of placental medicine as well as talking with mothers and their experience during the postpartum period. Kerstin was able to see firsthand the effects of placental medicine and decided to pursue becoming a placenta encapsulation specialist!
